Postdocs

We are looking for highly motivated and independent postdocs who are interested in line shape theory, computational spectroscopy, machine learning, quantum dynamics, and protein biophysics. If you are interested in joining our group please send me your CV and a brief description of your research interests.

Graduate students

Are you interested in developing new theories, simulating experiments on a computer, and writing computer programs to understand the physics behind various chemical and biological phenomena? Do you want to solve challenging chemical and biophysics problems using machine learning? If yes, please send me[link to akanane@udel.edu] an email and learn more about our graduate programs and how to apply. Students don’t need to contact me before applying, but I encourage you to do so. You may enter the Ph.D. program after successfully completing an M.S. degree program at the University of Delaware or elsewhere or you may be admitted directly to the Ph.D. program after a Bachelors degree. The deadline for application submission is January 15. All students admitted to the graduate program receive stipend and the tuition fee will be waived.

Undergraduate students

We welcome undergraduate students who would like to perform research in our group. Interested candidates should send their CV to me[link to akanane@udel.edu]. The University of Delaware has established a partnership with several Universities in South America. The summer research program created through the partnership is primarily intended for outstanding undergraduate students in their last year of studies and senior-level Master degree students near graduation. Learn more about the program and apply here.
