We’re always looking for new post-docs and PhD students interested in evolutionary genetics, phylogenetics, and trait adaptation. We have projects, both computational and experimental, in diving physiology, eyesight, and methods development.
For Postdocs, email me directly at nclark@pitt.edu, describing your specific research interest in the lab, and attach your CV and 2 featured publications.
For PhD students, we accept students through the following programs:
- Pitt Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB)
- Pitt Ecology and Evolution (E&E)
- Joint Carnegie Mellon-University of Pittsburgh Computational Biology (CPCB)
The University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) and neighboring universities have made Pittsburgh a national hub of computational, biomedical, and biological research. Pitt itself consistently ranks in the top 10 universities in terms of research funding.
Pittsburgh itself is vibrant, growing, and fun, with great parks, restaurants, arts, and regional natural recreation (hiking, skiing, rafting).
Pittsburgh #3 Best City in US
