The Mesoscopic Investigation of Fundamental Scientific Phenomena
Our group’s research focuses on the mesoscopic investigation of fundamental scientific phenomena, particularly, thermal, electrical, and thermoelectric properties of low dimensional materials.
We are developing novel synthesis and fabrication techniques to create/engineer new functional nano-structures, and characterization techniques to discover the fundamental physical phenomena. The work in our group is multidisciplinary from basic materials science to specific engineering applications and involves thermal science, electronics, optics, chemistry, and physics.
